Appliance Toggle Timer

After any relay is switched, that switch is frozen for this long before it can be switched again. This protects appliances — especially compressors — from rapid on/off cycling. The limit is enforced on the server, so it applies to every user and every browser at once and cannot be bypassed from a phone. Range: 1–300 seconds.

No voltage rule runs. You can still edit and save the settings below.
Source relay — Load on Battery

The relay that moves the house between grid and battery — it drops mains, and the inverter transfers to battery by itself. Naming it once here is what makes the Devices-page indicator, the dashboard tile and the voltage rules below all talk about the same physical relay. Stored on the server, so every user sees the same one; anyone with control permission can still switch it, they just cannot re-link it.

Example: relay turns ON when the inverter activates → choose "Relay ON". A normally-closed relay that opens on battery → choose "Relay OFF".
Voltage rules

Moves the load off the grid when mains voltage goes out of range, and back when it is stable again — driving the source relay named above. Rules run on the ESP32, so they keep working with no internet, no broker and no browser open. If the chosen reading is unavailable the device holds its current source rather than guessing.

Which relay the rules drive

Taken from the source relay above rather than picked again here. Automation reads it to tell a deliberate cut from an under-voltage fault, and can close it to restore grid if the battery falls below its floor.

Leave grid when voltage is
Return to grid when voltage stays within

The return window must sit inside the leave thresholds. That gap is the hysteresis — without it the load would flip back and forth every few seconds around the setpoint and wreck the transfer relay.

Device states per source

Shed heavy loads while running on battery and restore them on grid. Unticked = OFF. Relays automation drives itself — the grid-cut relay and the changeover relay — are shown locked: a rule owning one of them would undo the switch the engine just made.

Device Type Names

Rename the ESP32 and ESP-01 device types. The new names show on the Devices and Controls pages for all users. Only the display name changes — device IDs, MQTT topics and firmware are unaffected. Leave a field blank to keep the default.
